Memory bears lovingly handcrafted from your loved ones precious clothes.
You provide me with your treasured baby or relatives clothes & i create a truely wonderful bear for you to admire & display in your home. I dont wash the items so if they have a special smell you wish to hold onto that stays intact.....especially important for a deceased relative i feel.
i need approx 6-10 baby sleep suits/tee shirts/ etc or for adult clothes i can make a bear from a shirt & pair of jeans or the equivelant amount of fabric.. I can use denim, fleece, silky, stretchy & knit fabrics....also ties, nightwear, rock band tee shirts, baby bibs, school uniform etc.
i can add bits of jewellery or little treasures & trinkets.
i return any items i do not use.
i try to use as much detail from the clothing as possible...buttons, bows, trims & labels etc.
These bears take a lot of planning & are made with lots of care & attention so can take a little longer to create.....please allow 4-6 weeks for making.
They sit 18" high & can be sponged clean & air dried.
please note that because i am upcycling your clothes that these bears are not intended for children under 3 years old.
Bears are born in a smoke free home.
